Bought it (the 70) as a Basket Case, now it's nearly finished. Time to go racing! 70 390, 30 over w/401 crank, Torker, 750, 1 7/8 Hookers, MSD, Torqueflite, etc, hoping for Flat 12's on the motor. Then a little 200 hp shot of the juice. Next in line.......my White 68 then my Maxi Blue 73 AMX. Time for a Bigger garage. ;-)

I repainted its origional color of Golden Lime Metallic, though it appears just slightly lighter than some of the other cars i've seen of the same color. The previous owner had painted it a purple-ish red color. The clear was falling off in sheets when i bought it.

Great car! Don't see too many 68-70 AMX's in Montana. Noticed your 73 amx. Did it come from Salt Lake City?

Thanks for the kind words. I bought the 73 off of Ebay last year. It's sitting in my driveway waiting to be redone. I needed to get a 4 seater so my wife and two kids could go to cruise nights with me instead of following in her Suburban. The green 70 is too wild for her to ride in anyway, and the 68 i have is also waiting for its turn at a restoration. Hard to balance the cars and build us a new house at the same time. How's life in Montana? I've never been, heard it's beautiful.
