How is the project coming along? And what mods did you do to the 401 to get the HP that high? Interested...you can never have too much HP after all! :D
-
Wow...where'd you get those numbers? I have a 401 from 73, and have been wondering for a long time how many of them had 401s from the factory.

Thanks! I'll check it out!

OK I have a plan...hoping you can comment...I tried the “all Petronix” route but they told me they don’t have a distributor for an AMC 401 and won’t have one for “at least 6 months”. I’m...

One more question for you in additnion to the Ignitor III question above...is there any benefit in replacing the coil also? The one I have is a Mallory one that was no doubt nice as a performance...
-
Thanks Big Bad AMX, this is great! One question...do you think that the Ignitor is best, or is it worth (or even possible) to wait for and use the Ignitor III?
-
Hey there-
I need to replace the dual point ignition on my '73 401 with something better. Was told that electric was the way to go, but can't find any reccomended parts from the auto places. ...

-
Thanks! I'm going to go with the one piece from the AMX Enterprises guys that you turned me on to in the other post. I can't wait! Thanks again!

I have heard the same thing...that Mustang wheels of the same vintage will work on our cars...but I don't know it for certian.
-
Thanks! That is great information!
I had the Gymkhana from these guys put in a couple years ago...I completely forgot that they offered the rear axle too! Great doing business with them, very cool...

Hi there guys-
74, what ever happened with your rear end swap? Did the Moser one work out well? ANy tips? I am either going to go custom rear end or fix the old one on the car, but your post is...

Hello everyone-
I read that in addition to the special hood, the spoiler, the turned aluminum dash, and the gagues, the True-Track rear axle was also a part of the option package for 73 Javelin...
