    Default Hi.

I found this forum, and I must say it is going to be very helpful for restoring my wife's 1974 AMX. We have owned the car since 1976, but like anything else, time has taken some out of it. It has 77,000 actual miles on it. The first thing I want to know is if there is a website to decode the vin number. Thanks goes out to the person who made this forum possible.

Hello Richard and welcome to the forum!

The 1974 Javelin AMX page has the paint codes, I thought I had the '74 VIN decode info posted there too but I'll add it to the "to do list".

The Site Map page will give you an idea of what's currently in the site:

As for decoding your VIN you can post it here or PM it to me and I'll look it up for you.
