These covers are a "leak proof" design due to the fact that the gasket seats itself in a channel. The outer lip keeps the gasket from squeezing out, and the internal gussets keep the gasket from moving inward. Also, there is an "ear" on the right side of each cover to allow for easy removal from the cylinder head. Once the screws are removed, instead of prying off the cover as is the case with all other covers, all you need to do is tap the ear with a rubber mallet and the valve cover will roll off in your hand! Pretty cool, huh? The lettering on top is very bold, dynamic, and racy looking.

Working from the original design and improving on it over time, I'm proud to continue providing the AMC hobby with the ultimate in custom, hand finished valve covers. Of course, some people will want to install breathers, oil return lines, oil sprinkler systems, etc. All of this is possible because of the angle design, making for some pretty interesting and completely functional valve covers. The standard finish is bright aluminum cast, with a smooth satin top. All holes are chamfered and spotfaced. And each set of valve covers is hand stamped with its own serial number. The standard kit consists of one set of "satin" finish covers, one set of "Tru-fit" gaskets, and all stainless steel hardware to include 14 mil-spec socket cap screws, 14 mil-spec AN washers and a quality American made Allen wrench.
