AMX Enterprises has the last stock of an AMC zone of electric wiper motors for the 1968, 69, 70 AMX and Javelin. These motors are also correct for the 1967 Marlin, 1968 Rebel and Ambassador and 1969 /70 RHD Rebel and Ambassador. Part number 320 8246. Has wiring harness attached.

Chrome AMC Rally Wheels
AMX Enterprises has found a source of fully restored, show quality all chrome Magnum 500 rally wheels like used on 1968 AMXS, Javelins and other AMC cars. These wheels are also used by a lot of other AMC owners because they give the stock AMC look, yet the beauty of an all chrome wheel with an AMC center. They also allow the use of a larger-than-stock tire (up to a 245X6OXl4) without the clearance problems caused by aftermarket mags. These wheels are the perfect choice for many AMX, Javelin and other AMC car owners.
The wheels are original Magnum center sections,
fully show-quality rechromed with fresh baked-on black painted inserts. A new
triple chrome plated rim is then welded on with the exact offset of the original AMC
wheel. Welds are X-rayed before shipping. Quality and looks are totally show quality.

These are the ultimate center caps to use on these wheels. Use in place of the regular AMC center cap. Shown below wheel in above picture.
The weak point on all AMC Model 20 rear axles used in all AMC cars with a V-8 are the two-piece rear axle and hub assembly. A stock 390 or 401 can shear the splines on the axle and hub in a heartbeat, especially now that these parts can be up to 25 ears old. A modified 290, 304, 343, 360, 390 or 401 can easily spin the rear axle hub, especially with oversize rear tires. When this happens, the car will not move and you are stranded where ever you are. In the worst cases, the axle can also shear and the wheel and tire literally fall off the car! Major embarrassment and quarter panel damage.
Forged, one-piece rear axles were never
commonly available for AMC cars and the only car that got them were the Super Stock race
cars. Made by Strange Company, they were very expensive. The forged, one-piece axle is
made of from a single, machined forging of high strength alloy which eliminates the AMC
stock splined hub and axle that can fail, especially on a high performance car. For the
last 20 years, installing extra keyways was the only way to go, but this did not cure all
the weak points at all. Now, that method is a waste of money.
These modern forged axles are a simple bolt-in. You must use a hub puller to pull the stock hubs and a slide hammer to pull the axle-or let a shop do it, it is not a big or expensive job. (if you go this far, you might consider putting on the rear disc brake kit from AMX Enterprises!) Put the brakes (original drums or the new disc kit) back on, install the rim and tire and you have a super strong ALL AMC rear axle. No need worry about rear axle problems, no need to cross breed your AMC car with Ford or Mopar rear axles grafted on the rear springs. It is easy, simple and no longer very expensive.
Axle kits come with both the right and left forged axles, high performance bearings (to be pressed on at a local parts house) and new studs for the lugnuts (already pressed on). Guaranteed against breakage for 1 year by AMX Enterprises. (Some restrictions.)
Axle kits available for the 1968, 69, 70 AMX and 1968 - 1974 Javelin right off the shelf. Available for all other AMC cars using the AMC Model 20 V-8 rear axle if you send us your old axles to make sure dimensions are correct. Available for the AMC CJ Jeeps also using the AMC Model 20 rear axle, 1976 through the AMC Wranglers. For Quadratrak or non Quadratrak axles.

In the entire United States, there is no business that does stock and performance engine and suspension building just on AMC cars. There is also no one business an AMC owner can turn to for careful and concerned restoration service. SENSATIONAL PRODUCT FOR 2005!
AMX Enterprises, Ltd is proud to offer the AMC enthusiast something that has never been reproduced before by anyone in the world--the 1968/9 genuine AMC Racing Team Crew Shirt! Swing into this summer with a new, reproduction red, white and blue AMC race team shirt just like the factory-backed SCCA Trans-Am road racing and NHRA drag racing teams wore in the pits and AMC officials wore in the stands. These shirts were for the AMC race officials and race crews only and were never offered to the general public like the red, white and blue jackets were. AMX Enterprises was able to obtain an original shirt worn by John Martin who was Crew Chief and Driver for Kaplan Engineering in the 1968 and 69 seasons. The new reproduction is patterned after this original shirt.
The new tri-color AMC Racing Team shirts are exactly as the original--short sleeved with full collar, button front and single button cinch, tapered waist. They have no pockets so stuff won't fall out and cause problems in the pits and are 1960's fashion-styled and are meant to be worn outside of the pants.
AMX Enterprises contracted with Phoenix Custom Apparel of Denver, Colorado to make a limited run of 144 shirts in sizes (adult) S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. Phoenix is a major maker of custom shirts for racing teams today for many top-name drag racing teams, NASCAR teams and major racing sponsors and tracks. Those pretty 3 and 4 color custom racing shirts you see at the races and on tv are likely to be made by Phoenix Custom Apparel. The Denver manager of Phoenix was the man in charge of racing at Ford Motor Company in the late 1960's and early 1970's. These shirts are Premium Quality in materials and workmanship!
AMX Enterprises and Phoenix have improved this new reproduction over the old, 100% cotton original with use of a high strength, stain and fade resistant, wash and wear cloth that is 65% poly and 35% cotton and is made in Los Angeles to be used in today's racing sportwear. Colors were matched to be nearly exactly the shades of red and blue of the original shirt (white is a gimme). The tails of the new shirts are 3-4 inches longer than the originals--which would just barely cover the belt and easily "ride up". The shoulders were broadened for the more "full figured" older AMC enthusiasts of today. Stronger top stitching is used on the seams over original single stitching. AMX RECORDS SHIRT
This is the most popular AMX

For many years in the 1960's and 70's, American Motors used a round based antenna mast with a black rubber grommet under the base. The height of the base varied, as the picture shows, but the rubber grommet remained the same. After years of heat, cold and sunlight, the rubber is cracked and brittle. Take the antenna apart, and it shatters like glass. Try to find a replacement, and you come up zero-until now.
AMX Enterprises has found a new reproduction black rubber grommet that is very close to the original. Once installed, it is near impossible to tell it is just a fraction of an inch less in height than the original. But even a national show judge couldn't really tell. And the fit around the bass itself is excellent. Now used in national concourse, this little grommet is the finishing touch to a new paint job or just a fresh antenna. $3.00 each, 2 for $5.00. The AM-xtra has been produced since 1974, over 20 years and contains a wealth of information you might want to know about. From technical to historical to current events of the time. Early (1986 back) issues are AMX 2-seater oriented. An index is available free to help you determine what is of interest to you. Back issues are $2.50 each, $2.00 for more than 10. Most are original issues, only a couple might be photocopies. You can learn a lot in just a little reading. Invest in knowledge.

SHIPPING
Unless you specify, your order will be shipped via UPS or Parcel Post. We prefer UPS. Large items unable to be shipped by UPS or Parcel Post will be Truck Shipped via Consolidated Freightways. Most orders require shipping and handling costs to be paid with the order. Truck shipping will be Freight Collect. Some items require special or unusual boxing or padding. Some items may be surcharged by UPS/DOT as Hazardous Materials. Crating time and materials for large or unusual items must be negotiated before shipping.
CLAIMS
Delivery damages are the responsibility of the carrier, not AMX Enterprises. Always check the condition of the merchandise as soon as you receive it and if found damaged, call AMX Enterprises AND the carrier right away. It is best to inspect the merchandise at the time of delivery in front of the delivery agent. Remember, YOU must file claims with the delivery company in case you receive damaged merchandise known or suspected to be damaged in transit.
RETURNED/EXCHANGED GOODS
Should you receive a defective item from AMX Enterprises and damage is proven to not have been caused in transit, or you receive an incorrect item, all efforts will be made to correct the problem. Please contact us for return authorization before returning any merchandise. All returned merchandise is subject to a 15% handling and restocking charge, if not due to our error. Return shipments must be sent freight/postage paid, along with name, address and details of the problem. This may be worked out on the phone or by mail before return shipping.
WARRANTY
The following is made in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied: Sellers' and manufacturers' only obligation shall be to replace such item found defective or unusable. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use of, or inability of the product or the installer. After use, the user shall assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith. All parts warranted for 30 days on a return/exchange basis unless otherwise so stated. We strive for customer satisfaction in every reasonable way we can.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Some items such as custom carpet kits are made to specific order. These items require full payment to include all shipping and handling charges in advance and are not returnable unless a gross error was made in manufacture.
