Cleaning out old stuff of my Dad's who passed away this summer - found a mailing tube from a Rambler Nash Dealer, dated 1958. Inside was a plastic case with a tag on it: "TWIN BED INSECT SCREENS - RAMBLER MODELS - ACCESSORY NUMBER 8990416"

The case contained two small screens, all rolled up. Anybody have a clue how these were used an an accessory to a Rambler Wagon?

Nash advertised their Twin Travel Beds in the sales brochures as "Great for vacation, fishing, hunting and camping trips." It would be my guess that the side window screens were an option that was used while camping overnight to allow ventilation while sleeping with the windows down and keeping the bugs out.
