Hey everyone. I am new to the AMC world and I need some help with my '73 Javelin. I need to replace the front right fender, and other panels (ie trunk lid, hood.....etc), but cant seem to find anywhere to that sells them. Now I know that parts for these cars are hard to come buy, but they got to be out there somewhere. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Oh, and does anyone have a '73 Javelin wiring diagram? I have major wiring issues, and the car is pretty much stock, so a photo copy of that would be priceless. Thanks for your help. John

There's quite an active group of AMC owners and clubs in the Washington and Oregon area. Here's a few who can help you find what you need for your car. You'll be looking for used parts, I'm not aware of any repro sheet metal for your car. The hood an decklid may be available in fiberglass.

Try contacting:

AMC Northwest at: http://www.amcnw.com/

Classic AMX Club of Portland at: http://clubs.hemmings.com/frameset.cfm?club=classicamx

I have a good trunk lid and a 'repaired but needs re-repairing' hood. I have a wiring diagram and some extra wiring harnesses, if you need one. Actually, the wiring diagram I got off of a web site http://www.xerog.com/xerog/oldcars/030203album.htm
You can print your own.

I also have some door handles (in and out), Dash pad, OK door panels and other miscellaneous 'stuff'. I am over in Puyallup, so not too far if you need something I have. Let me know what you need and I'll look through my boxes.
