need some quick value help

Hi, I have never owned an AMX but a friend who is buying a building told me of a car that the owner says has been parked there for 15 years. New orange paint..390 rebuilt, perf interior and glass, no dents or scratches, flat black hood. The only visible drawbacks are the 15 years of sitting..hoses, brake cylinder, etc. The guy wants 10k but says he will neg. Im thinkin 5k but your thoughts please

That's not much to go on. But 5k for a complete 2-seat AMX w/390 that runs is a bargain (assuming it's not full of rust).

everything is there, no rust wherever the eye can see. Corrosion at the power brake master...no biggie there. New tires but 15 years old. If I get it I'll post a pic

Thats funny, if I have to pay over 7500 i will need to sell my 69 mustang which is a cool car but plenty of em runnin around. Sold the dog to get the stang

K.......Paid 7 k pick it up Saturday. Along with several boxes of parts, steer box..column..extra seats....and who knows what else.
