Has anyone else tried making a plate to lower the spindles? I made them out of 1/2 plate and drilled the holes to raise the spindles using the bottom holes in the spindle to mount to the top holes in the trunion pivot and new holes thru the plate to secure the upper holes of the spindle and the lower holes of the trunion pivot. Ive been running on these for over ten years without a problem, it also allows for a wider rim as it widens the track. Lowers the front end without cutting anything about 2 1/2"
