Some interesting observations regarding this video: This is a 1968 AMX, not a '69 as titled. And it's not a prototype as described by the narrator. It is (was) Dick Teague's personal AMX. The changes to the car, such as the Big Bad White paint scheme, pillar mounted fuel filler, fender tags, hood pins, dual snorkel air cleaner and various interior changes were made by Teague to show the AMC brass changes he wanted to see implemented to the AMX. AMC was too small of a company to give even Teague cars to try out his styling exercises so he used his own car. Also, when he loaned his car for the road test he wasn't aware they were going to drive it like they did. He wasn't too happy when he saw the film.
