"MEANEST MUSCLE CAR Award 2004"

Ok; girls love AMX's and I should know because I own one! (Thanks Shirley!) A beautiful 1970 AMX! Owned this car for 1 1/2 years. It's quicker than my husband's 1968 but he thinks his is faster! I guess we are just an AMX family.

This is my 70 AMX....My name is Chuck Page and I'm located in Niagara Falls NY. I'm 57 years old and have had the AMX for 3 years now. Way back in 1970 I returned from Viet Nam with a few thousand dollars in savings and every intention to buy a brand new AMX!! Unfortunately they were all gone and I had to settle for a nice 70 Jav, 304 ,3 speed in dark green.....nice car!!! I met my wife because of that car and had some "FUN" times in it also!!
I still always wanted an AMX!
A few years ago I was lucky enough to find this car stashed away in a barn, hidden from a credit union that was trying to reposses it because the owner defaulted on a loan. To make a long story short I bought the car from the credit union for about .10 cents on the dollar and have been improving and restoring it ever since. The car is a 390 auto with factory air and "go pac". It's beautiful inside and out and only missing a few parts that would make it 100% original. I'm the only 70 AMX in this area ( right Now) and take my share of trophies at the local shows. I'm always happy to hear from other AMX owners and like all of us...ALWAYS looking for parts!!
