Here is a picture of my 68 AMX, 390 dogleg heads, 4-speed, 3:73s, 2.5" flowmaster exhaust.The car has 17" Torque Thrust wheels with z rated Falken tires. It turns alot of heads, but most people don't know what it is.

The AMX has gymkana suspension,3:54 gears and just got the 1st Gear Vendors overdrive for an AMC T-10 4speed....watch for the write up in the AMC WORLD CLUBS newsletter......the car runs hi 13's at 5800 foot altitude...thru the Quartermile on street radials in other words for every one elses altitude take off 1 second. Has been owned since 1978.......Street raced, drag raced, autocrossed....cruized...power toured....etc etc.
 
69 AMX with 70 360 4-speed, was original 390.Have owned for 13 years,
recently restored.Rb4 high rise intake, roller rockers,750 dual pump holley,292 duration
competition cams,dual point dist., headers, ported and polished heads, 411 rear end gears,
fast ride and fun to drive, has power steering. Car is for sale.
 
My Name is Jim Hayward. The Car is a 1970 AMX 390 Auto. The wheels are Z racing type 60. The Color of the car is 93 Chrysler Emerald Green. The motor has a fresh valvegrind and has a mild grind cam. Mallory unilite ignition is under the stock distributor cap.It turns heads where ever it goes. It started out a mosport green up in Pa. I bought it from its second owner in Pasadena Md. I have owned it for about fifteen years. My wife Carol and I reside here in Boca Raton Florida and belong to Suncoast AMC.
