    is a t15 shifter the same in a 6 cyl as 8cyl?

    I want to move my 3 speed column shift to the floor. Is the shifter and linkage the same for a 6cyl as a 8cyl? All the hardware,brackets the same? My car has a T15 3 speed standard 290 in a Javelin
