I own a 74 AMX without the front spoiler, so I went to Galvin's AMC Rambler Parts, and ordered the plate holder bracket, so when I install a license plate, doe's it attach to the top of the plate, or the bottom. Any help would be appreciated. or pics......

It has been such a long time since I had the front plate holder installed, but I seem to remember that it attached to the top of the plate.
