Changing Heater Core
How much of a job to change the Heater Core in a 73 Javalin. It was originally an AC car but all the AC stuff is gone.

Hi, I removed my 71's a few years ago and sold it... It should not be too difficult for you since the car had the A/C removed. The only trouble is the hose clamps, and removing the dash pad and passenger side plastic molding. Once they are removed, you should be able to remove the core with out much trouble.
I had to replace my 2006 Lumina van's heater core last year... it took the same amount of time, but it did not need to have the dash pad off. From that I would rather replace the Javelin's heater core any time.
