M-12 converter question
I can't seem to find out what torq converter is used on a BW M-12 tranny. Nor where to get one. I have one, but cannont tell if it is good or not. Are they rebuildable if so, who does it. HELP!

Yes, they are rebuildable. And performance enhancements can be done at the time of rebuild. Consult a local performance tranny shop or find one on the 'net that can do the work. Keep in mind that the Borg-Warner automatic is based on the same design as the Ford FMX and some parts are interchangeable between the two. Find a shop that knows the Ford FMX tranny and they can rebuild your Borg Warner M-11, M-11B and M-12.
