1973 Javelin SST new alternator/internal regulator
Hello all, new Javelin owner. Beginning restoration. First timer. Can I replace the existing 55A alternator and external stock regulator with a new 100A (with internal regulator) alternator without causing too many issues? Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you very much!

In a nutshell - yes, you can replace it but there will some minor reworking of the wiring and you may need spacers for mounting to align the pulley. But you won't be dealing with too many, or major issues. When you order or buy the new one let them know what you're upgrading from and to so they can give you specifics.

Again, thank you BBAMX. That's what I was hoping to hear.
