'70's are suppose to have dash pads? That's what that cracked and curled mess is on my dash, a pad!

I ran across a repro, black urethane, piece for the '70 Javelin and AMX, while 'surfin' the web, I believe Galvins AMC Rambler Parts in Lodi,CA was the place.

The price is comparible to what I've seen real good condition originals go for, around $250, which is cheaper than those dash restore places I have talked too.

Has anyone seen one of these by Galvin? what are they like?

I don't know if anyone else has a reproduction, but if you want OEM, be warned, I think they were made of Vampire-Hyde, that is, if the sun hits it, poof!! <-- seasonal humor!
