AMC Clock Restoration
Most AMC cars built in the 1960s and 1970s used clocks made by a company called Borg. Instrument Services has do-it-yourself repair kits for all cars, including AMC, going back to the early 1900s. The do-it-yourself repair kit takes 60-90 minutes to install. It comes with an instructional video to follow along with. If you'd rather they fix your clock you can send it in for that service. Quartz conversions kits are available too. The quartz kit installed in my 1969 AMX has worked extremely well for the last six years.

sounds like a good idea, the tic-toc-tach in my Javelin (its not roadworthy right now... need a job) is half-functional... the tach works but the clock is dead.
