69 AMX Armrest Overlay Details
I'm looking to restore the armrest overlays on a 69 AMX
with woodgrain vinyl that matches the woodgrain
on the door panel. I know that for 69 the woodgrain
should completely cover the overlay and that the
woodgrain pattern should be aligned vertically.
What I need to know is what is the color of the stripe
that outlines the overlay (on top of the woodgrain)
and what is the width of the stripe.
Thanks in advance.

The stripe on top of the woodgrain was a sprayed-on silver. Best to use hobby shop Testors metallic silver in the small shake 'n shoot cans or the paint pens. 1/8" wide
FYI: The woodgrain is patterned after African Tiber wood.
