Wiper Motors
I changed mine years ago and found that the electric motor and it's base will bolt right on the fire wall. However, you must also change out the transmission (the wiper assembly located within the cowl area). These are the arms that meander their way from wiper to wiper. The vacum transmissions are too short and would only do about 2/3rds of the windsheild in comparsion to the right transmissions for the electric ones. So, if you find an electric motor, yank out the transmission with it. Might be a good idea to check and make sure that all of the washers and the whatnot are in good shape on the transmission.
