Does anyone know what the type of wood is the dash overlay supposed to be? Somebody told me it was to supposed to imitate a African wood ?

It is Tiber wood on the 69 dash overlay, door panels and console. I think that's the correct spelling.

That I'm not sure about. I'd guess a side-by-side comparison with armrest overlays would show differences, if any.

I did a search and can't find any info on Tiber wood. Is that the correct spelling?

Yes, that's correct. I only found a couple of references under tiber wood including a cabinet for sale on ebay. Pretty tough to find anything on it though.
