    More tranny help

    Hi again. I have a '68 T-14 with the 6.5" bellhousing. I just bought an 8" bell that I'm going to exchange it with because I'm putting in a 304. I know that the input shaft from the tranny will be 1 1/2" shorter than the bell, but is there anyway I can still use the tranny? I read in one publication that the bellhousings are interchangeable. Just want to make sure before I tear everything apart.Thanks in advance.
