Newby Here with a few questions
I've committed to buy a 69 amx from a friend and will be picking it up tomorrow. I know its a 390 AT car, How do i find out what options it came with? I've been researching these cars on the net for the last couple days
and i here things like "Go Pack", "Big Color Cars" etc. Will the door tag tell me this stuff? and what does the Go Pack consist of? any help would be appreciated.

Welcome on board and congradulations on buying your AMX. To defintely find out what options the AMX came with you would need the build sheet. Only a small portion of the cars came with the build sheet since the line worker was suppose to throw them away when the car was done at the factory. The door tag will be of limited help in that it will tell the color of the car, color of interior, etc. The VIN will tell you what kind of engine and tranny was put in. The "Go Pak" consisted of power disc brakes (front), the gauge setup which included the oil, amp, gauges etc.
Good luck
