Brakes on 69 AMX (TIP)
Most of you may already know this, but I thought I'd share. I bought a 69 AMX, that had the the entire brake system redone in 2006, just bought this car a couple of months ago. I wasn't happy with the stopping, something just wasn't right. Long story short, they used the new life time shoes and pads. After examining the drums, and the front rotors, found only a little bit of rub all the way around. These new life time shoes and pads are just too hard. Changed back to the old style and that made a world of difference. Hope this may help someone else.
