I'm restoring my auto driveshaft on my 69 AMX and noticed 3 rings on the shaft. In the GM world those are paint code rings to determine model type, trans. type, etc. The coloring is gone on mine and I would like to put it back. Any original driveshafts out there with paint codes? Has anyone ever seen this before. Thanks
