    Streering wheel insert restoration

    Has anyone ever got a '68-'69 AMX steering wheel insert (where the horn buttons are located) restored.Mine looks like a satin(dull) chrome and everybody (platers) I talk to knows the finish, but can't figure out how to refinish it. If any one can help let me know.

    Can't help you there. It may be easier to find another in better shape?
    If you find a source to restore the originals please let us know.
