1970 AMX quarter window weatherstripping
I recently purchased a 70 AMX and want to replace the weatherstripping as part of my restoration. The new rubber I received for the doors and quarter windows does not quite reach the door jamb under the window. Is there another piece that I need to completely close this gap? Can anyone help me as I can't seem to find a piece for this space. Thanks for your help.

The repro weather-stripping for the 68/70 AMX (made by Metro Molded Products) doesn't fit quite right and never has. It is close, at best. There is not a correct repro available at this time so it's all we have. Best to complain to the person you bought the stuff from LOUD and CLEAR, then call the manufacturer and voice your opinion LOUD and CLEAR! Hopefully with enough complaints, they will correct their product.
