    '68 AMX Hood Insulation Pad ?

    Was the hood insulation pad installed at the factory on a '68 AMX 390 auto? What conditions?

    Hood insulation was standard in the AMX and installed at the factory for all engine tranny combos.

    Thanks. I had to ask, I have seen numerous higher-dollar cars for sale without any pad. Seems like a simple thing to help complete the car.
